MatKings Terms of Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create a MatKings account, enter a contest, or create or join a private league. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

You are responsible for confirming that participating in fantasy wrestling contests, including any paid contest or private league fee, is lawful where you live. Fantasy contest laws vary by state and can change; MatKings does not offer contests where we've determined the law doesn't clearly permit them, but we can't give you legal advice about your own situation, and you should not enter a paid contest if you are unsure whether it's permitted where you live.

MatKings does not run contests based on high school wrestling events.

You may create an account with a username, email address, and password, or by signing in through a supported third-party provider (currently Google or Facebook). If you sign in through a third-party provider, that provider's own terms and privacy policy also apply to your use of their sign-in service.

You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials confidential, and notify us at support@matkings.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Each person may hold only one MatKings account.

Your username is public. Your email address and phone number are private account details and are never shown to other users as your public identity.

MatKings offers free public contests, and, when a specific contest has been approved and is run directly by MatKings, paid public contests with cash prizes. Rules, format, prizes, entry deadlines, and eligibility for a contest are posted on that contest's page before you enter or pay.

Private leagues let a commissioner set up a league for their own group and share a join code with members. The commissioner pays MatKings a league or league-package creation fee. Any entry fees or prize money a private league's members arrange among themselves happen entirely outside MatKings — we do not process, hold, guarantee, referee, refund, or provide support for money private league members exchange on their own. If you're relying on a private league's own prize arrangement, that's between you, your commissioner, and your league, not MatKings.

Contest outcomes are determined by roster selections against real-world wrestling results, scored under the rules posted for that contest or league format. MatKings may correct a scoring error and will use reasonable efforts to do so promptly, but final standings and prize decisions for a contest are at MatKings' discretion once posted as final.

MatKings accepts payment through Square and PayPal, which may also enable Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Venmo as payment methods. We do not receive or store your full card number — your payment method is handled directly by our payment processor. Prices for private league creation, private league packages, and any paid contest are shown before you pay.

Purchases are generally final. If something went wrong with a payment or purchase, contact support@matkings.com — refunds at MatKings are reviewed and issued manually by our support team rather than self-service, so we can look at what happened before resolving it.

You agree not to: create more than one account; use bots, scripts, or automated tools against the Site; attempt to access another user's account or another entry's private roster before it locks; interfere with contest scoring or standings; abuse, harass, or impersonate other users or MatKings staff; or attempt to bypass any security, rate-limit, or verification control on the Site.

We may suspend or terminate an account, remove an entry, or withhold a prize if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated. We'll tell you why when we can do so without compromising how we detect abuse.

Rankings, public contest details, and public standings are visible to anyone. Your roster picks stay private from other entrants and commissioners until the contest's roster lock; after lock, visibility follows the rules of that specific contest or league. MatKings owns the Site's design, branding, scoring systems, and content. You keep ownership of anything you submit (like a private league's name), but you give MatKings permission to display it as part of operating the Site.

The Site is provided "as is." We work to keep contests, scoring, and standings accurate and the Site available, but we don't guarantee the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times, and we aren't liable for outcomes caused by underlying event data, scoring corrections, or circumstances outside our control.

To the extent allowed by law, MatKings' total liability to you for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid MatKings in the 12 months before the claim arose.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these Terms as MatKings changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above; continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
